What the Cup stands out with their impressive menu, where you’ll find more than 300 different drinks to choose from. The best part? Their beverages are affordably priced from just $1.50. Their touchscreen interface lets you customise your drink to your liking, before you make payment and the machine gets to work. You’ll find concoctions including  Thai Tea Cafe Latte (from $3), which combines fragrant Thai milk tea with coffee, Strawmilk Smoothie ($3.50), a riff on the classic strawberry smoothie, and Oreo Smoothie Volcano ($6): Oreo, ice, and milk.

2. Kopi Near Me

Kopi Near Me is another new vending machine dispensing freshly brewed beverages, more specifically kopi. You’ll find the machines at Sunshine Plaza, Ubi Techpark, and a few other locations. The touchscreen system lets you choose from three hot coffee options: Kopi-O ($1.10), Kopi ($1.30), and Kopi-C ($1.30). Just like at any kopitiam, you can customise your sweetness level. What’s more, each cup of coffee is made in just 45 seconds, so you can grab your caffeine fix in a jiffy!

3.  Uncle Lee’s Old School Delights

You can now get freshly baked, six-inch whole cakes at Uncle Lee Confectionery‘s new vending machine, located at Woodleigh Village Hawker Centre. Choose from four flavours, including their signature Kaya ($22.10) and Peanut Butter Sponge Cake ($15.80). The cakes are baked fresh in the morning and delivered to the vending machine at 11am. When we were there, they were sold out within an hour, so we suggest you visit when they’re restocked at 5pm each day.

4. Butter Town Shio Pan ATM


Located beside Uncle Lee’s vending machine in Butter Town‘s Shio Pan ATM. Here you can get legit Japanese salt bread dispensed in packets of three! The buns are baked and delivered to the vending machine at 12:30pm and 5pm every day, with unsold items cleared by 8pm, so you’re getting them fresh. The Original Shio Pan ($7.20 for three) is a signature here; made with premium Japanese bread flour, the bun boasts a slightly crunchy and salty exterior that gives way to a soft and chewy middle.

Kaki Kaki Durian has set up shop at Tampines MRT Station—not as a brick-and-mortar stall, but in the form of a durian vending machine. This new vending machine offers Mao Shan Wang durian that’s specially sealed and restocked daily for optimum freshness. At the end of the day, unsold durians are turned into puree for cakes, ensuring no wastage! The MSW durian from Kaki Kaki is known for its golden flesh, rich sweetness, and creamy texture. Besides the vending machine, you can get them delivered to your doorstep via the brand’s online page.

Sort your midnight munchies at Makan Mee, a 24/7 cafe with a vending machine that dispenses the instant noodle flavour of your choice! This vending machine stocks over 40 varieties of instant noodles, with brands such as Nissin, Indomie, Samyang, and MAMA. Prices are not exactly cheap—Jin Ramen goes for $4 and Samyang Noodles cost $4.50—but you get to cook your noodles with the cafe’s automated induction cookers and dine in a comfortable, air-conditioned space.
