OMMA Chicken Soup opens at Bendemeer Food Centre

Samgyetang fans, take note: Omma Chicken Soup, the hawker stall behind Singapore’s cheapest bowls of Korean chicken soup, has just opened an outlet at Bendemeer Market and Food Centre.
We Tried $6.80 Samgyetang At This New Bedok Stall By Ex-Michelin Chefs
We reviewed Omma Chicken Soup not too long ago and came away impressed by how much comfort the stall packs into a bowl under $8. The Bendemeer outlet runs the same menu, so the massive, fall-off-the-bone chicken drumsticks and slow-simmered broth that won us over should be making the trip over too.
For the uninitiated, Omma Chicken Soup is helmed by three co-founders, Kenneth Teo, Josiah Tan, and Toh Chyelong, two of whom previously worked together at a Michelin-starred Korean restaurant. The broth is simmered for eight hours, and the stall keeps things fuss-free, with no MSG, pork, or lard used in any of its dishes.
Since opening its first stall in Bedok earlier this year, the brand has expanded rapidly and now has over 15 stalls islandwide!
The cheapest main in the chicken soup lineup is the Collagen OMMA ($6.80), though true-blue samgyetang fans should get the Ginseng OMMA ($7.80), a fan favourite for its clean, naturally sweet broth and ginseng flavour infused right into the chicken.
Other variations include a Sesame Omma ($7.30) and Kimchi Omma ($7.80).
If you’d rather skip the meat and go straight for carbs, the Collagen Porridge ($4.90) is also on the cards, best eaten with a generous scoop of Signature Kimchi ($1.20) on the side for extra flavour.
