Tollyjoy, a baby products company founded in Singapore, is shutting down after 55 years in business.
The company announced its closure in a Facebook post on Thursday (Sept 16).
Founded in 1971, Tollyjoy Baby Products manufactures and markets baby care and mother care products under the brands Tollyjoy and Little Precious.
“For 55 years, Tollyjoy has accompanied parents through the little moments that make parenting so special — from the joyful anticipation of welcoming a new baby, to the sleepless nights, first feeds, first baths, first steps and all the precious milestones in between,” the company wrote on Facebook.
It said it had the privilege of growing alongside generations of families and creating treasured memories.
The retailer announced that it would be taking their “final bow and winding down the brand”.
“While this is a bittersweet moment, we are deeply thankful for the trust and support that have carried us through more than five decades,” said Tollyjoy.
“To every parent and family who welcomed Tollyjoy into your homes, thank you for allowing us to accompany you on your parenting journey.”
In the post, the company reminded customers that they could still buy Tollyjoy products “at special farewell prices” from their retail partners, while stocks last.
Tollyjoy products are available in supermarkets such as FairPrice outlets as well as specialty baby stores like Little Baby and Baby Kingdom.
