Calling all Manchester United fans! Imagine watching your favourite players train up close, joining the squad for a photo and stepping onto the pitch at Old Trafford. For Tiger Beer’s Roar United winner Loh Shao Wei and his partner Bon Lee Ngee, that dream became a reality! 🤩

But they weren’t just there for their own football adventure. The pair travelled to Manchester carrying the memories and passion of Malaysian supporters, bringing a little piece of home to the club they love.

Nearly 500 Malaysian Fan Stories, One Special Book 📖

From matchday memories to friendships built over football, Tiger’s Roar United brought together generations of Malaysian fans through their shared love for Man Utd.

Close to 500 submissions were compiled into A Roar Across the Ocean, a commemorative book celebrating the passion, pride and loyalty of Malaysia’s Red Devils. And yes, those stories made it all the way to Manchester!

An Exclusive Visit To Carrington & A Photo With The Squad 📸

First stop: Carrington Training Centre, Man Utd’s training ground and academy headquarters, which isn’t usually open to the public.

Loh and Bon got an exclusive look at the team’s matchday preparations, watching the players warm up and train at close range. They even met the squad and joined a full-team group photo, with the book accompanying them on this unforgettable visit.

Talk about a dream day for a Man Utd supporter! 🔥

Stepping Onto The Pitch At Old Trafford ⚽

The experience continued at Old Trafford, where Man Utd faced Ipswich Town.

Before kickoff, Loh and Bon stepped onto the pitch alongside the Tiger Beer team to present A Roar Across the Ocean to Man Utd legend Denis Irwin, who received it on behalf of the club. They also watched the players warm up from the touchline with Irwin!

“Being at Old Trafford was already something we had dreamed about for years, but knowing that we were there representing so many Manchester United fans back home made it even more special,” shared Loh.

Malaysian Fan Memories Made It To The Manchester United Museum

The trip came full circle when the pair presented the book to Rick McGagh, Man Utd’s Director of Fan Engagement, at the Manchester United Museum on behalf of Tiger Beer.

What started as stories shared by supporters across Malaysia had reached the home of their beloved club—a meaningful finale to Tiger’s Roar United campaign.
