There’s no denying that Singaporeans love travelling to Johor Bahru – mainly for the affordable shopping. It’s time to plan another trip over to Johor Premium Outlets (JPO) this weekend as Causeway Link has added new JPO2 and JPO3 bus routes that take you straight to the doorsteps of JPO from Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints.
What are the routes for the new JP2 and JPO3 Causeway Link buses?
Bid adieu to the hassle of booking Grab rides in JB. The new JPO2 and JPO3 buses take you directly to JPO from CIQ 1st Link at Woodlands and CIQ 2nd Link at Tuas respectively. You’ll have to alight to go through immigration and reboard the bus after you’re cleared. Simply look out for the yellow signs directing you back to the CW buses and you’ll be good to go. Both journeys will take around 45 minutes, sans traffic jams.
The JPO2 buses depart promptly at 9am, 12pm, 3pm, and 6pm from CIQ 1st Link. Don’t get too carried away with your shopping and remember to set your alarms as the JPO2 buses will leave JPO at 11am, 2pm, 5pm, and 8pm.
JPO3 buses depart at the same time from CIQ 2nd Link. However, the JPO3 bus will set off from JPO at 10.30am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm, and 7.30pm.
How much are the tickets for the JPO2 and JPO3 buses?
A one-way trip on the JPO2 bus costs RM4.50, while a one-way ticket on the JPO3 bus will set you back at RM6. Visa, Manjalink Card, and cash payments are accepted – but do note that no change will be given if you pay via cash. Currently, there are no options to pre-book your tickets online.
What can I do at Johor Premium Outlets?

One word: shop. JPO houses over 100 name-brand outlet stores, including Aigner, BOSS, Coach, Furla, Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Moschino, and Polo Ralph Lauren. You’ll feel less of a pinch shopping here as discounts go up to 65% – but don’t expect to find the latest drops here as most of the items are from past season collections.
