1. Lizoo

There’s something so nostalgic about freshly roasted chestnuts, but they’re not the easiest snack to find on demand. Enter Lizoo, a new snack store focused on nature-forward, comforting small bites to please the whole fam, freshly baked in-house.

Their signature Premium Freshly Baked Black Gold Chestnuts ($6.75/250g) are a bestseller for good reason. These plump, premium chestnuts are harvested from organic farms on the foothills of the Yanshan Mountains, grown without chemical pesticides, fertilisers, or herbicides. Batches are slow-baked throughout the day at 150°C to bring out their natural sweetness and fragrance, and served fresh.

If you always find yourself grabbing a sweet potato at Don Don Donki, Lizoo’s Freshly Baked Golden Crispy Sweet Potatoes ($3/100g) have to be on your radar. Wedges of Taihang sweet potato are baked till they’re crisp and golden on the outside, while still soft and fluffy within.
