For the uninitiated, Standard Bread is known for its freshly baked breads and rustic cottagecore ambience. Though fairly new to Seoul—the bakery only opened in September 2024—they’ve already garnered an online fanbase, with over 12,000 followers at the point of writing.

The bakery is popular for their uber-thick bread loaves, available in flavours including Brioche Bread, Chestnut Coffee Bread, and the best-selling Salted Butter Plain Bread. Fingers crossed that these fresh loaves will make an appearance at the RWS store!

If you have visited Standard Bread’s Seoul cafe, you’ll know that their french toasts are equally popular. The Honey Garlic Butter Toast is a sweet-savoury option that comes with a slab of cold garlic butter, while the Creme Brulee French Toast is popular among those with a sweet tooth.
