Fiie’s Cafe, AKA Mr Grumpy Nasi Ayam, has set up a new stall in Tampines! This outlet marks their second East-side opening, following their Bedok launch last year.
Famous Lucky Plaza Fried Chicken Stall Opens Fifth Outlet In Bedok
For those who don’t know, the homegrown brand went viral on social media a few years ago for its “grumpy” owner at their OG Lucky Plaza eatery. Despite the owner’s stern appearance, the stall soon became popular for its delicious nasi ayam goreng, drawing long lines daily. In fact, their signature dish has been touted by netizens to be some of the best fried chicken out there!

If it’s your first time here, you won’t go wrong with their best-selling Signature Nasi Ayam ($6.50). Each plate gets you a thick slab of deep-fried chicken that’s crispy and well-marinated with a secret mix of spices, finished with a generous amount of battered crumbs for added crunch.

The meal is complete with a bed of fragrant chicken rice that pairs well with the juicy and flavourful chicken. You also get a dollop of sweet sambal on the side, which cuts through the richness of the meat.
