Celebrating its second anniversary this month, Savor Restaurant remains steadfast in crafting plant-powered plates with no compromise on satisfaction.
Its meals contain no gluten-based mock meat, relying on naturally fresh and fermented produce like coconut flesh, mushroom stems and Borneo’s wild mango and ginger, harnessed by wellness-focused founders and skilled chefs.
From nasi lemak to Sarawak laksa, bakso to burgers, cashew-filled pasta to caffeine-free tiramisu, Savor’s selection is easy to enjoy, casual and comforting, nourishing and nostalgic, thoughtful and tasty. You’ll even find a dark chocolate dessert that’s divinely decadent.
Come for culinary classics like Sabahan Linopot d’Odu, stay for holistic programs with certified therapists that span detox and juicing, physiotherapy, sauna baths and hydrotherapy.
With facilities for event hosting and catering, Savor is Desa Sri Hartamas’ one-stop destination for everyone seeking to strengthen their health through a smarter, more sustainable diet.

Fans of gut-friendly fare, start with Savor’s Hearty Omega (RM42), a nutritional powerhouse loaded with lion’s mane mushrooms, seaweed tofu, avocado, cherry tomatoes, raisins, pomegranates, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and almonds on a fibre-rich base of barley, showered with parsley, edible flowers and sesame oil, rounded out with house-made yuzu dressing and dairy-free mayo.

It’s a beautiful vegan bowl, balanced with creamy and crisp textures, citrusy and earthy flavours, with no added sugar or salt, sensational for clean-eating days.

Savor’s recipes feel close to the heart. Their Sabah-origin family recipe of Linopot d’Odu (RM28), loosely translated as Grandma’s Wrapped Rice, is a tribute to time-honoured cooking that reflects generations of care and dedication.
This traditional favourite features Sabah-sourced sambal tuhau (wild ginger), spicy-sweet fermented bambangan (wild mango), savoury mushroom stems and pucuk manis with soy chips. Mix everything up with the brown rice for brilliant bursts of big, bold flavours.

Savor’s take on Malaysia’s most beloved dish proves that plant-based dining can deliver depth and delight.
The Sambal ‘Squid’ Nasi Lemak (RM28) brings together fragrant coconut rice with plant-based anchovies, crunchy peanuts, tempeh strips, lively paku pakis and cucumber.
The sambal ‘squid’ is crafted from supple young coconut flesh for succulence that stands in scrumptiously for seafood, alongside rendang that’s lusciously layered with mushroom stems.

For soul-warming Southeast Asian noodles (RM28 each), order the Savor Signature Sarawak Laksa, rice vermicelli lushly immersed with shimeji mushrooms, tofu puffs, vegetables and zesty calamansi in a creamy, full-bodied vegetable broth with mellow Kuching-loving spices, complete with crispy coconut flesh ‘squid,’ and Javanese Meatball Bakso, brimming with chunky-juicy, bakso-style mushroom stem balls, siew bak choy, white radish and coriander, anchored by an aromatic clear soup with Indonesian-inspired spices.

Western crowd-pleasers are well-represented too.
The Tangy Tango Chick’N Burger tucks a crackly plant-based patty with lettuce, ripe tomatoes and kitchen-made spicy-sweet sauce in a tender toasted bun, custom-baked with nutrient-dense wholewheat (RM35), while the Irish Shepherd’s Pie lines mashed potatoes with peas and soy-fuelled plant protein ‘meat’ for hearty, family-friendly enjoyment (RM35).
For pasta pleasure, Swiss Buttermilk Pasta (RM30) is velvety and vibrant with cashew-based sauce and curry leaves, sprinkled with B12-rich nutritional yeast and coconut flesh ‘shrimp.’

Don’t miss desserts, with irresistibly wholesome indulgences like Savor’s Silky Decadence, creatively evoking Japanese chocolate confections with a high-protein, melt-in-the-mouth blend of silken tofu, luxurious dark chocolate and plant-based milk (RM24), and Dolce Tiramisu, with delicate sponge fingers soaked in a caffeine-free medley of chicory and roasted barley with a coffee-like kick, complete with brown sugar and vanilla extract (RM25).

Savor-40.jpgSavor-36.jpgBeyond Savor’s street-level dining space, its first floor is excellent for events, accommodating up to 70-100 guests. Savor provides this space complimentary for groups of at least 30 guests who order meals from the restaurant.
