Shifu Food Court at Bras Basah Complex is open 24 hours daily

ICYMI: Shifu Food Court at Bras Basah Complex has reopened its doors! The popular food court, which has been around since 2001, recently underwent a major revamp before unveiling a brand-new look.

Upon stepping in, you’ll be greeted by a fun and lively atmosphere, complete with colourful storefronts and decor reminiscent of vibrant street food stalls.

The new food court is rather spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and a whopping total of 14 stalls to choose from.

A standout is Chun Noodle Bar, which puts an interesting spin on wonton mee.

Their Truffle Char Siu Wanton Noodle ($9.50/$11.50) features al dente mee kia zhnged up with a dash of truffle pate, tossed in a fragrant house-made sauce. The dish is then topped with wonton and char siew. Each bowl comes with a side of tonkatsu soup, which elevates the dining experience.

Alternatively, noodle lovers can check out Ah Gong KKM for their hearty bowls of ke kou mian.

A crowd favourite is the Spicy Combo KKM ($9.90), featuring noodles topped with pork balls, fresh prawns, and sweet clams. Choose one of five types of noodles: Koka Noodles, U-Mian, Ban Mian, Shaved Noodles, and Mee Hoon Kuen.

Popular bak chor mee brand Ding Ji also makes an appearance.

You’ll find their signature Teochew Mushroom Minced Meat Noodles ($5) here, where mee pok is tossed in a piquant chilli sauce, then finished with minced meat and juicy mushroom slices.
