Steep yourself in decadence with The Astor Grill’s’ Afternoon Tea Ritual. The plush lounge offers seasonal afternoon tea sets, with their current offering priced at $65++ per person. Diners can expect a tiered tray lined with a medley of sweets and savouries, as well as unlimited servings of freshly brewed coffee and tea. There’s also the option to give yourself a bubbly upgrade by ordering a glass of prosecco with a top-up of $30++.

You can look forward to savoury treats including the Smoked Duck with Hoisiu Sauce Sandwich and Coconut Hei Bee Hiam Kueh Pie Tee. The stunning lobby is framed with plush couches where one can enjoy these tiered sets, priced at $98++ per person. Buttery, house-baked raisin scones served with clotted cream and rose petal jam share space with a medley of finger sandwiches sans crust, and a selection of sweet treats. All the petite desserts are made by the hotel’s executive pastry chef as well. To complete the set, diners get a choice between loose-leaf tea or the hotel’s very own custom-blended coffee.

5. Princess Terrace

Afternoon tea usually comes with a high price tag, so we were pleasantly surprised after finding out that Princess Terrace has a value-for-money Nonya High Tea at just $20++ per person, with a minimum of two diners required. The hidden gem Peranakan restaurant is located on the ground floor of Copthorne King’s Hotel, a convenient five-minute walk from Havelock MRT Station.
Available every day, from 3pm to 5pm, the set comes with handmade Nyonya kueh, assorted sandwiches, mini egg tarts, popiah, and nasi lemak, along with two hot desserts: Homemade Beancurd with Gula Melaka and a surprise Dessert of the Day. To round off the experience, cleanse your palate with some iced kombucha and pinkies up with a selection of coffee or tea—these drinks are included in the set, too!

6. Sichuan Dou Hua Restaurant

Discover the Imperial High Tea Set at Sichuan Dou Hua Restaurant‘s Tian Fu Tea Room, perched on the 60th floor of UOB Plaza. The set is well-priced at $48++ per person, and comes with one tea or coffee.
While the menu might change depending on the season, you can expect to sample around nine items. Previously, they’ve served items such as Steamed Siew Mai with Black Garlic and Deep-Fried Bacon Roll with Fresh Prawn. Possible sweet items also include Homemade Fine Beancurd with Wolfberries and Daifuku with Red Bean and Strawberry.

Book a table at Intercontinental Singapore’s The Lobby Lounge to enjoy afternoon tea sets with unique themes, ranging from the seasons to different cultures.
At the time of writing, their Heritage Royale Afternoon Tea ($228++ for two people) has 12 different items for you to try, and you can even end the experience with an ice cream trolley for a selection of sorbets and gelatos. As for the savouries, the Hokkaido Scallop Chawanmushi and Signature Kaya Jam and Foie Gras are great options to make your money’s worth, followed by some sweet treats such as Ondeh-Ondeh Swiss Roll and the hotel’s very own Intercontinental Macaron.

8. Anti:dote, Fairmont Singapore

Anti:dote is known best for being a cocktail bar, but the lounge also offers seasonal afternoon teas. Typically, a set comes with sandwiches, a medley of sweet entremets, and scones served with lemon butter curd, Devonshire clotted cream, and strawberry marmalade, as well as your choice of tea from their lengthy selection. Many of the teas are from TWG, and range from light, floral brews to punchier, dark teas.
Thee luxurious experience is available from now till 30 June 2025, and is priced at $68++ per person. You can look forward to fresh Boston Loster, tender Poached Chicken, and tangy Raspberry Mascarpone.

Their afternoon tea sets change seasonally, so there’s always something new to look forward to. This festive season, the Teatime Soirée ($68++ per person) features over 15 sweet and savoury bites, including Miso Brioche with Scallops, Truffle Croque Monsieur, and Basque Brioche with Smoked Duck.

For afternoon tea with serious views, check out SKAI at Swissotel The Stamford. The restaurant is located on the 70th floor of the hotel and boasts stunning panoramic views of the city with its floor-to-ceiling windows.

While the restaurant’s afternoon tea switches up from time to time, most of the menu bears Japanese and Asian influences—think King Crab Toast with yuzu and Matcha Kinako Gateaux. 14. Teahouse 1973
Transport yourself to Teahouse 1973, a quaint, cosy Malaysian-themed cafe that also serves up afternoon tea sets for two at just $45 for two people nett. The set comprises full-sized slices of cakes baked fresh and in-house daily, a couple of scones, and savoury sandwiches to round off the meal, as well as a pot of fruit tea.
