A total of three hawker centres across Singapore will close for one to three days from Oct 5 to Oct 7 for cleaning.
According to the National Environmental Agency, such cleaning is conducted regularly so that Singaporeans can enjoy affordable food in a clean and hygienic environment.
The hawker centres undergoing cleaning are Block 112 Bukit Merah Market and Food Centre, Serangoon Garden Market and Hong Lim Food and Market Centre.

- Kim Keat Palm Market and Food Centre at Block 22 Lorong 7 Toa Payoh (till Dec 13)
- Block 726 Clementi West Street 2 (till Dec 27)
- Changi Village Block 2 and 3 (till Oct 15)
There are a total of 123 markets and hawker centres across Singapore.
