With FIFA World Cup 2026 just days away, football fans across the globe are already buzzing with excitement. McDonald’s seems pretty excited, too, which is why they’ve announced a slate of new and returning menu items for the World Cup season, along with an exciting lineup of merch fans will want to get their hands on.

For a fiery snack that’ll match the flying tackles and pressing at the World Cup, try the new Spicy Jalapeño Chicken McNuggets ($8.70). According to McDonald’s, these nuggets are “crispy on the outside with a bold jalapeño kick”, offering “tangy, savoury and spicy flavours” in one package. Along with these nuggets is the returning Honey Soy Chicken McCrispy (from $9.25), featuring the fast-food chain’s signature fried chicken coated in a honey-soy glaze. These two items, part of the FIFA World Cup 26™ Meals, will be available from 11 June 2026.

With every FIFA World Cup™ Meal* purchase, fans can collect one of six limited-edition collectable cups starring footballing icons past and present: David Beckham, Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Son Heung-Min, and Lamine Yamall. Oh, there’s also McDonald’s own Grimace, who’s somehow found his way into the starting lineup.

If you’re waking up early to catch the games, consider treating yourself to the new Breakfast Burger Chicken Sausage (from $6.45) or the returning Breakfast Burger Chicken Ham (from $6.45). These burgers are currently available, so you can get them even ahead of the first World Cup game next week.

There’s a bunch of other McDonald’s World Cup launches to look out for, including T-shirts, Happy Meal plushies, and the new Pistachio Soft Serve (From $1.30). Football fans are in for a treat.
