Salmon so thin, it almost looks like a piece of paper

He paid $8 for his food, and it came with spicy chicken galbi and a piece of grilled salmon. The problem? The salmon was so thin that it could flop over on itself when flipped.

Facebook user Clarence Khoo had ordered a BBQ Salmon Set from hawker stall Zhen Shi Korean Cuisine at Suntec City’s Food Republic food court.

“First [time] saw such a thin salmon. At Suntec Food Republic,” Clarence wrote, with one netizen responding: “I thought it [was] egg in my initial view.”

But amidst shrinking food portions and rising prices, take heart that there are still eateries which offer very wallet-friendly food here, like $1.80 nasi lemak, $2.80 century egg pork porridge and $6 truffle pasta.
