Cafe Kitsune x Casio launches new matcha watch
Watch collectors and matcha fans, you’ll want to move fast on this one. Cafe Kitsune has teamed up with Casio for the second time to launch a limited-edition watch inspired by the cafe’s matcha roots, and stock in Singapore is running low—we hear Korea and Japan have already sold out entirely.
The watch comes in Casio’s classic square-face silhouette, done up in soft matcha green shades true to Cafe Kitsune’s signature palette.
The brand’s fox motif appears on both the dial and case back, while the cafe’s logo is engraved onto the clasp.
If you’ve been eyeing one, here’s the catch: 12 September and 13 September are the last two days the public can purchase the watch, exclusively at Cafe Kitsune Capitol, a two-minute walk from City Hall MRT Station.

The cafe opens at 9am on both days, and a queue is expected, so early birds will have the best shot. Purchases are capped at two watches per customer, and the watch retails at $173 nett.
To go with the launch, the cafe has also rolled out a matcha-forward specials menu, available at all Singapore outlets through 30 September. Do note that the Matcha Croissant is exclusive to Capitol.
The Iced Coconut Matcha Cloud ($8++) was a standout during our visit. Think light, refreshing coconut water capped with a silky-smooth, bittersweet matcha cream. The Matcha Cheesecake ($13++) impressed too, with distinct layers and a crunchy cookie base that held up well against the tangy cheesecake layer and its strong matcha flavour.
For something to go with your drink, the Cafe Kitsune Shortbread ($3.50++) comes in three flavours—butter, chocolate, and matcha.
We went with the matcha version, which was crumbly and best enjoyed dipped straight into a hot drink.
Whether you’re after the watch or just the seasonal matcha lineup, this weekend’s the moment to make the trip down to Capitol before the stock runs out!
